2. National Archives: This is where all the nations important documents go.

3. Supreme Court: The Supreme Court consists of the Chief Justice of the United States and such number of Associate Justices as may be fixed by Congress. The number of Associate Justices is currently fixed at eight. With the power to nominate the Justices vested in the President of the United States. This is the highest reigning court in the US.

4. Vietnam Wall: This wall commemorates all those that were called to fight for their country in a time of need.

5. Capitol: This building is where legislation is passed and meetings are held. The senate and house of representatives are found here at least once a month.

6. White House: For two hundred years, the White House has stood as a symbol of the Presidency, the United States government, and the American people. At various times in history, the White House has been known as the "President's Palace," the "President's House," and the "Executive Mansion." President Theodore Roosevelt officially gave the White House its current name in 1901.

7. Arlington National Cemetery: This cemetery goes on for miles in memory of those that have died for this country, not only fighting for it.

8. Washington Monument: This monument is what is known as Washington's obelisk. It creates a reflection in the water near Lincolns memorial.

9. Jefferson Memorial: This memorial, with the words by Thomas Jefferson almost 200 years old written on the walls, serves as a symbol of liberty and inspiration for all citizens.

10. F.D Roosevelt Memorial: This memorial doesn’t just represent Roosevelt but also the era he represents. “All we have to fear is fear itself.”

11. Lincoln Memorial: This memorial is dedicated to the 16 th president of our great nation and the savior of our country during the Civil War. This is an enduring symbol of freedom and a source of inspiration.

12. WW|| Memorial: This memorial remembers extreme sacrifice made by servicemen of all kinds. It remembers the victory of the “greatest generation.”

13. Smithsonian Natural History Museum: The Museum is dedicated to inspiring curiosity, discovery, and learning about the natural world through its unparalleled research, collections, exhibitions, and education outreach programs.

14. Smithsonian Institute: The Smithsonian Institution, the world's largest museum complex and research organization composed of 19 museums, 9 research centers, and the National Zoo.

15. Korean Memorial: This monument remembers the United States service men that served during the Korean War. Mainly those who died in action.
