3 Expectations You are expected to keep the “Bee Attitudes” from the time you get on the bus of the morning and until you get off the bus in the evening! 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 3

4 Respectful  Treat bus equipment as you would valuable furniture in your home. Damage to seats, windows etc., must be paid for by the offender.  Food should not be eaten on the school bus. 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 4

5 Respectful  Bus riders should never tamper with the bus or any of its equipment.  Follow Bus Drivers Directions  Use a Level 2 Voice 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 5

6 Responsible  Leave no books, lunches or other articles on the bus.  Help look after the safety and comfort of small children.  Sit towards the front of the bus. 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 6

7 Elementary students should sit toward the front. Middle school students sit in the middle and High School students sit in the back. 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 7

8 Safe  Keep hands and head inside the bus at all times.  Remember loud talking and laughter or unnecessary confusion diverts the driver’s attention and may result in a serious accident. 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 8

9 Safe  Nothing is to be thrown about on or out the windows of the bus.  Bus riders are to sit in their seats, on their bottoms, at all times. The are not permitted to leave their seat while the bus is in motion. 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 9

10 Safe  Feet, hands, and all belongings to yourself and not in the aisles. Horseplay is not permitted around or on the school bus.  Absolute quiet when approaching a railroad crossing stop. 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 10

11 Honest  Seats may be assigned by the driver. If you have an assigned seat go to it and stay in it. 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 11

12 Caring  Be courteous and use kind words to fellow pupils, and the driver.  Treat other the way you want to be treated.  Abstain from the use of foul language. 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 12

13 Consequences  Drivers may turn in a discipline referral to principal and is considered an automatic major offense.  No honey money will be awarded for week. 3/18/2016copyright 2006 www.brainybetty.com 13
