A Gathering Prayer When two or more are gathered in your name And see your presence in each face We treasure the gift that your word reveals Come and bless us here in this place

Come, Holy Spirit, make us holy. Fill our hearts with a burning desire for the truth, the way and the fullness of life. Enkindle in us your fire that it may make us into light that shines and warms and consoles. Let our heavy tongues find words to speak of your love and beauty. Make of us a new creation so that we become people of love, your holy ones, visible words of God, then we will renew the face of the earth and everything will be created anew. Come Holy Spirit, make us holy, strengthen us, stay with us. Amen.

1.What are the thoughts that run in your mind when you see these pictures? 2.What do you hear from others about these issues? What are your anxieties, hopes? Do you have dreams? What are they? 3.How do you see yourself ten years from now? Twenty years from now?

Proper Attitudes toward our journeying together Whenever our interior life becomes caught up in its own interests and concerns, there is no longer room for others, no place for the poor. God’s voice is no longer heard, the quiet joy of his love is no longer felt, and the desire to do good fades. …; it is not God’s will for us, nor is it the life in the Spirit which has its source in the heart of the risen Christ. Pope Francis

With Christ joy is constantly born anew. …I wish to encourage the Christian faithful to embark upon a new chapter of evangelization marked by this joy, while pointing out new paths for the Church’s journey in years to come. Pope Francis

“I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them; The Lord does not disappoint those who take this risk; whenever we take a step towards Jesus, we come to realize that he is already there, waiting for us with open arms God never tires of forgiving us. 3

This is the joy which we experience daily, amid the little things of life, as a response to the loving invitation of God our Father: “My child, treat yourself well, according to your means… Do not deprive yourself of the day’s enjoyment” (Sir 14:11, 14).

There are Christians whose lives seem like Lent without Easter. I realize of course that joy is not expressed the same way at all times in life, especially at moments of great difficulty. Joy adapts and changes, but it always endures, even as a flicker of light born of our personal certainty that, when everything is said and done, we are infinitely loved. 6

Without seeing You we love You. Without touching You we embrace. Without knowing You we follow. Without seeing You we believe

We return to You deep within, leave the past to the dust. Turn to you with tears and fasting, You are ready to forgive.

Without seeing You we love You. Without touching You we embrace. Without knowing You we follow. Without seeing You we believe

The sparrow will find a home near to You oh God. How happy we who dwell with You, forever in Your house.

Without seeing You we love You. Without touching You we embrace. Without knowing You we follow. Without seeing You we believe

I dream of a “missionary option”, that is, a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything, so that the Church’s customs, ways of doing things, times and schedules, language and structures can be suitably channeled for the evangelization of today’s world rather than for her self-preservation. continue on….

Consider to get a name connected with the Event of Vatican II. I consider that this is the greatest miracle of God achieved through the life of St John XXIII. We always associate miracles of saints with healing. Vatican II is the greatest miracle that God has done through John XXIII because it has given new direction, new enthusiasm, and call for renewed heart to heal the world. Vatican II is the reason why we can do amalgamation of our communities of community today.

Let us build a house where love can dwell And all can safely live, A place where saints and children tell How hearts learn to forgive. Built of hopes and dreams and visions, Rock of faith and vault of grace; Here the love of Christ shall end divisions; All are welcome. All are welcome in this place.

Let us build a house where prophets speak, And words are strong and true, Where all God's children dare to seek To dream God's reign anew. Here the cross shall stand as witness And a symbol of God's grace; Here as one we claim the faith of Jesus: all are welcome. All are welcome. All are welcome in this place.

Let us build a house where love is found In water, wine and wheat: A banquet hall on holy ground, Where peace and justice meet. Here the love of God, through Jesus, Is revealed in time and space; As we share in Christ the feast that frees us: All are welcome, all are welcome, All are welcome in this place.

Let us build a house where hands will reach beyond the wood and stone to heal and strengthen, serve and teach and live the word they’ve known. Here the outcast and stranger bear the image of God’s grace. Let us bring an end to fear and danger. All are welcome, all are welcome all are welcome in this place.

Let us build a house where all are named, their songs and visions heard and loved and treasured, taught and claimed as words within the Word. Build of tears and cries and laughter, prayers of faith and songs of grace, let this house proclaim from floor to rafter All are welcome, all are welcome, all are welcome in this place

May only goodness and kindness follow you all the days of your life!
