John Smith leaves Jamestown. 1609-1610: Starving Times started, considered the first Powhatan war. John Rolfe and Pocahontas married and peace was made. 1622: The Powhatan Indians attacked. This event lead to the start of the second Powhatan war. Peace was made. 1644: Powhatan Indians attacked again leading to the third and last Powhatan war.
