1 Word 2010 Sorting Text In this lesson you'll learn how to sort text. Sort means to arrange text in Alphabetical order, or to arrange numbers in either Ascending or Descending order.

2 Select Text to Sort 1. Select the text that you want to sort, that is in a bulleted or numbered list.

3 Select Sort Command 2. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click the Sort button.

4 Select Order of Sort 3. In the Sort Text dialog box, under Sort by, click Paragraphs and Text, and then click either Ascending or Descending. 4. Then click OK.

5 Text is Sorted 5. The text will then be sorted in the order you have chosen. BeforeAfter
