The Grand Canyon in Arizona was formed from tectonic plate pushing together and then going upward. Then water erodes to form rivers. This is mainly formed from tectonic plates.

4. San Andreas Fault
This fault in California is forms when tectonic plates move away from each other. Rapid energy is released and that makes an earthquake.
