English people are easily recognized by their accent. The United Kingdom is probably the most dialect-obsessed nation in the world.` However there are different accents : Mancunian (Manchester), Scouse (Liverpool), cockney, Geordie accent (new castle & more generally east end of London), welsh (wales), Scottish (Scotland)

The British are known to drink a lot of alcohol. Britain has one of the highest drinking rates in the world The average drinker in the UK has 15-and-a-half liters of pure alcohol a year - the equivalent of 775 pints of beer : that's the same as 500 glasses of strong wine or 1000 shots of whisky or other spirits. The alcohol they prefer is beer, this is where their “beer belly” comes from.

The British are known for loving tea. In the UK there are various ways of drinking tea, but the most common way is : tea served with milk. The word tea in the UK can also mean an early dinner.

THE ROYALTY IN ENGLAND IS A BIG THING, AND THE ROYAL FAMILY ARE VERY RESPECTED AND ADMIRED : ANYTHING THEY DO, EVEN SMALL THINGS ARE MADE HUGE. THE BRITISH ARE EXTREMELY PATRIOTIC, IF ANYONE CRITICIZES THE ROYAL FAMILY, ALL THE UNITED KINGDOM IS INFURIATED.

England is a beautiful country that has a lot to offer to the natives and the tourists but you probably already know that the weather in the United Kingdom isn't what people go there for. UK : rainy most of the time : depressing weather, the consequences of that are that the people living there are more or less pale. They are not used to the sun because they don’t have any beaches (apart from in Wales) : when they are exposed to it, they tend to burn easily instead of tanning.

Royalty -The British hold a big place in their hearts for the queen and all the royal family in general - They are very protective of the royalty - It is part of their culture

The English are also known to be extremely polite. They apologize often, even when they didn’t do anything wrong. We hear them apologize about everything & anything.
