What is Great Britain? Great Britain (GB) is the largest island in Europe. It has a population of over 60 million people. Great Britain, together with Northern Ireland is called the United Kingdom (UK).

British Food From Wales: Cawl (Soup) From England: English Breakfast and toad in the hole From Scotland: haggis, neeps, and tatties (potatoes) There are different types of traditional cuisine in Wales, England and Scotland.
Food: The Sunday Roast Every Sunday thousands of British families sit down together to eat a big meal with roasted meat served with roast potatoes, vegetables and other foods.
Food: Fish and Chips Fish and chips is a popular take-away food in Great Britain.
British Tea Culture The most popular tea in Great Britain is black tea and is usually made with milk.The tea is often accompanied with scones, jam and clotted cream which is called Devonshire tea.
