4 policy A policy is a statement of intent, and is implemented as a procedure or protocol. The school policy is that students have to pass their classes in order to play sports.

5 Megalopolis A very large, heavily populated city or urban complex. A megalopolis such as New York City offers many diverse opportunities, but the crime rate is usually high.

6 metropolis The capital or chief city of a country or region. Their trip to the booming metropolis made them eager to return to their little house in the sticks.

7 Politician A person who is professionally involved in politics, especially as a holder of or a candidate for an elected office. Campaigning politicians make more promises than they can keep.

8 Infinite Unlimited or unmeasurable in extent of space, duration of time, etc. We had an infinite amount of hope for the future of our country.

9 Finale The last part of something (such as a musical performance, play, etc.) My favorite part of watching fireworks is the finale.

10 Final DEF:coming at the end of a series. SENTENCE: The final version of the report was presented and the student scored 100%."

11 Confinement The action of confining, or the state of being confined He was immediately released from his confinement.

12 Literal Taking words in their usual or most basic sense without metaphor or allegory. The book was first taken in a severely literal sense.

13 Figurative Of the nature of or involving a figure of speech, especially a metaphor; metaphorical and not literalfigure of speech When speech or writing is not literal, it is figurative, like when you say you have a ton of homework.
