July 20, 2007Anita Topkar, BARC Strip detector production for fabricating 1000 micromodules has been completed Assembly of micromodules was launched in September, 2006 in the presence of Dr Anna Peisert, CERN Production of 1000 modules has been completed 870 modules have been shipped to CERN 130 modules are ready for dispatch

3. July 20, 2007Anita Topkar, BARC The first lot of 120 Nos of modules was shipped to CERN from BARC in Dec, 2007 The second lot of 300 and 450 modules has been shipped in March, 2007 from BEL The third lot of 130 Nos will be shipped in August, 2007

4. July 20, 2007Anita Topkar, BARC Reception tests were carried out on 120 modules (first lot) during CERN visit in Jan- Feb, 07 All detectors were tested for temperature cycling tests (-30 - +50C) Bonding tests were carried out on all detectors for checking quality of film and optimization of bonding parameters for ‘Indian Sensors’ The data of all tests carried out during assembly has been entered into the CRISTAL data base

5. July 20, 2007Anita Topkar, BARC Additional 100 detectors are to be supplied to CERN without assembly. The production of these detectors is underway at BEL
