The Water Cycle How does water on Earth cycle in different forms?

What should I do? I bought this pretty glass bowl with floating candles and I’m trying to decide where I should set it up. I have a big window with a large sill that gets lots of sun during the day. I think it would look nice there. I also think it would look nice on an end table I have in a dark corner. Should I put the glass dish in the bright window or in the dark corner?

Evaporation is the process by which liquid water is heated by the sun and changed to water vapor (a gas).Evaporation The rate, or speed, of evaporation is affected by temperature, wind, surface area, and level of humidity. Water can evaporate from a puddle, the ocean, a lake, a stream, or just a droplet of water. Transpiration is the process during which plants give off water vapor from their leaves into the atmosphere.

Why do water droplets collect on the outside of a glass on a hot day?

During the process of condensation water vapor cools and changes back into liquid water. Clouds form during condensation when rising air cools and some of the water vapor “clump together.”Condensation Clouds that form during the process of condensation contain water droplets or ice particles.

During the process of precipitation, water returns to the Earth from the atmosphere. Precipitation occurs when water droplets or ice particles in a cloud get so large that they must drop from the cloud. There are four forms of precipitation: Rain, snow, sleet, and hail. When precipitation returns to the Earth it collects, or gathers, in bodies of water such as oceans, lakes, rivers and streams.Precipitation Percolation refers to the process during which precipitation slowly soaks into the ground. Run off is water that runs downhill after precipitation has fallen.

The Water Cycle

The water cycle describes the process by which the various forms of water move about Earth’s atmosphere. The processes of evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection/accumulation make up the water cycle. The water cycle has no true beginning or end.
