3. If you are having difficulty… First, refer to your class notes. Every part of speech we have diagrammed thus far has been demonstrated on multiple occasions in class. You should have your detailed diagramming notes. These are your best tool to use. You should also have your graded/corrected sentences that were passed back to you. *Always check the Graded Work OUT Folder to pick up the most recently graded assignments.

6. Here is the welcome page. Use the menu bar on the left to navigate to General Resources for ALL CLASSES

7. Once you get to the General Resources Page, you will see this information. SCROLL ALL the WAY DOWN to the BOTTOM of this page!

8. At the bottom of the page, you will see a link. Click on this link!

9. The link will take you to this website.

10. Click on the title bar to open up the drop down menu!

11. Scroll down to the Powerpoint Presentations Item Click on that!

12. Clicking on the Powerpoints Option will take you to this page. Next, click on the Diagramming Sentences Option!

13. The Powerpoint will pop up. You can open it or save it to your desktop to view the tutorial.

14. This is the tutorial. Simply click through the slides to see active demonstrations of diagramming the various parts of speech!

We learn by making mistakes. Just be sure to pay attention when we correct the diagrams in class together each day! You can also come in for extra help during assistance period.
