3. Day 1 Rules / Expectations Most rules in this room are the same rules you’ve learned in school forever. Some rules are about us and our own personal values. We cannot teach you all of our values in one day, so we can’t expect you to respect them until you’ve learned them.

4. Day 1 Rules / Expectations We expect everyone in this room to do his/her best to make this a place for learning. That means everyone must feel safe and welcome. If anyone is ever doing something that is distracting or unsafe, we will let them know. We will treat that moment as a learning experience - no punishment, no argument. Our expectation is that once you have learned that a behavior is not okay in this room, you will not do it again.
