15 PANAMSAT PROPRIETARY/CONFIDENTIAL 090026.MW.ppt15 CONCLUSION The lines between video broadcasting, data broadcasting, and telephony are blurring. Satellites used as broadcast delivery mechanism can be the most efficient, cost effective means of delivering content to multiple geographic locations simultaneously. Satellites provide the perfect compliment to other delivery mechanisms for pushing a broadband signal to a remote locations. Cost and quality of satellite services is constant to the end- user independent of service area.
