Our final design used: ● Gold keys that contain RFID tags and silver keys that do not ● An Arduino with an RFID shield to detect the gold keys ● A latch (shown below) to unlock the chest ● A servo (connected to the Arduino) to open the latch ● Spring hinges to open the chest when unlocked Final Design
