In other words, the SLO performance measure is a separate measure from the Course assigned grade. How do we engage students to perform accurately?...

Types of Informal Assessments that promote student learning through engagement: Use Effective Questions: Questions are a way of engaging with students to keep their attention and to reinforce their participation. Questions can be used to stimulate discussion. Questions can help evaluate student understanding of material. Facilitate Discussions: Make learning active. Help build community. Enable students to participate as co-creators of knowledge. Develop students’ ability to demonstrate ideas and meanings.
