6. Myers Briggs Personality Index
Developed by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter, Isabel Briggs Myers
Developed during WW2 to help women entering the workforce for the first time in identifying the type of war-time jobs they would be most comfortable and effective.
Designed to look at the rational (judging) functions: thinking and feeling
As well as the “irrational” (perceiving) functions: sensing and intuition

Sometimes we have to tailor our conversations so that the other person can understand in the way that they think as opposed to how we are presenting the information

13. What now? Embrace your individuality!
There is nothing “wrong” with you – in fact, most of us are a little off for doing this job, right?
If there is someone in your life that you do not get along with, could learning about your personality type affect that relationship in the future? Maybe.

14. Assignment #1
Make sure you read the documents about the City of Kaplan Fire Department in the “Assignment” tab. We’ll be working with these for the next 10 weeks
MINIMUM two page paper in proper APA format discussing the findings of your inventory and the strengths and weaknesses you knew.
Make sure you use at least two outside sources, properly formatted.
