3. Future Time “will or "be going to”
In English the Future Time is expressed in a number of ways. This tense is always formed with will or be going to followed by the main verb.
The future tense is used to tell about events which will happen from now on.

4. What is the structure?
The auxiliary verb "will" is used with all persons to form the future tense.
The auxiliary verb “shall" is only used with “I or We.”
The base form of the main verb is always used.
For negative sentences "not" is added between the auxiliary verb "will" and the main verb.
For questions the auxiliary verb "will" comes before the subject.

5. will vs. going to
Although will and going to may seem similar, in fact there's a world of difference between them. Will is used to express spontaneous decisions, while going to - intentions.
Example
I will come back at 10 p.m.
I am going to pas my driving test.

6. 1. Uses of “Will”
"Will" often suggests that a speaker will do something voluntarily. Similarly, we use "will not" or "won't" when we refuse to voluntarily do something. Often, we use "will" to respond to someone else's complaint or request for help.
Example
I will send you the information when I get it.
Will you make dinner?

7. 2. Uses of “Will” "Will" is usually used in promises.
Example
I will call you when I arrive.

8. 3. Uses of "Be going to"
"Be going to" expresses the idea that a person intends to do something in the future. It does not matter whether the plan is realistic or not.
Example
He is going to spend his vacation in Hawaii.

9. 4. Uses of "Will" or "Be Going to"
Both "will" and "be going to" can express the idea of a general prediction about the future. Predictions are guesses about what might happen in the future.
Example
The movie "Zenith" will win several Awards.
The movie "Zenith" is going to win several Awards.
