1 Aim: What Were the Goals of the Congress of Vienna?
Do Now: (1) How does the world feel about the United States in Iraq? (2) How did European leaders feel towards Napoleon Bonaparte? Homework: Metternich and the Congress of Vienna attempted to turn the clock back and restore deposed monarchs to their thrones. Identify and explain two reasons why these efforts failed. Include specific examples from at least one nation in Europe.
