LPI IELTS TOEFL Placement Tests SAT - Language Proficiency Index is required by many colleges and universities if you do not meet the English 12 proficiency requirement -International English Language Testing System required if schooling has not been in an English speaking environment for the last 3 or 4 years - generally required if schooling has not been in an English speaking environment for the last 3 or 4 years depending on institution - may be for specific institutions if the LPI has not been taken, i.e. Langara LET - required by most American colleges/universities and for SFU Athletics Teams
