1. 1 Let’s review what we learned last week: 1.When we are self-aware, we will be unfaithful and dangerous to others. 2.When we are self-aware, we see all things and interpret them relative to ourselves which will have to have some benefit to self to even be considered. 3.When we are self-aware we will do whatever it takes to accomplish what self needs and wants. 4.It will also incorporate measures to conceal failure, shortcomings, weaknesses etc… 5.These things are the proof of it own malignancy.

2. 2 What would you guess is the most significant thing that the Bible says about love? "We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him." 1 John 4:16 Lenski says two significant things about the meaning of agape love. First, he says that mankind is incapable of grasping it as an attribute of God. First let’s understand what love is from God’s point of view. Secondly, Lenski quotes Erbarmen, “God is all that he is, not for himself, but for us.” Does that tell you anything about “love”, its focus, capacity and power for influence? Can you imagine what that would do inside of you if you would open your heart to it?

3. 3 In fact, with that understanding, now look at how much we can see in the following verses. "By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him." 1John 4:9 "No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us." 1John 4:12
