2 Project Overview *Students will work on their designs for the poster competition on our school- wide expectations. *Second graders will also continue to work on their Hopes and Dreams.

3 Noise Level 1 1.Gather all materials. 2.Open to page 86 in your Treasures book. 3.Taking turns with your group members, read aloud Meet Rosina with your group. The last page is 106. 4.When you have finished the story, work together complete the comprehension activities with your group. 5.Turn the papers into the Turn In File with your name on the top. 4 Writing “ School-wide Expectations” Noise Level 1 1.Gather all materials. 2.Finish editing your “Expectation” writing rough draft. 3.Trade with a partner to edit your writing. 4.Type your “Expectation” writing on your Chromebook. 5.Check with an adult to print it on the Husky Paws paper. 6.Use the dictionary if you need help! Standards W.2.7 Participate in shared writing projects. W.2.2 Write informative/explanatory texts in which they introduce a topic and use facts to develop points. 5 Self-Selected Reading / Accelerated Reader Noise Level 0 1.Choose a library book or a book of choice that you have not read. 2.Be sure you picked a book that you can read alone. 3.Silently read. 4.After you finish your book, write the name of the book and information on the SSR/AR form to turn in for a grade. 5.When you finish the sheet, turn it in to the Turn in File. 6 Working with Words Noise Level 1 Monday: Start the spelling packet. Tuesday: Finish the spelling packet and turn in to the turn in file. Wednesday: Choose Practice Activity (if finished with packet): 1. Crayon Mats 2. Story Thursday: Spelling City- go to the website to practice your words for the test on Friday. You may only go to the challenge list if you have mastered the regular list. Standards RF2.2 Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds.
