ICC Development Program – a Global Game All 95 Associate and Affiliate Members are ranked on their domestic development. –The main areas that countries are ranked on are the number of Senior Players, Junior Players and modified games players. –The more senior players, the more junior players and the more modified players you have the higher the potential ranking.

4. The Future - Challenges All ICC funding comes directly from head office and is based on a members domestic growth. No regional Funding. A member is not just competing regionally for funding but globally, across all 95 Associate and Affiliate members. Those members who don’t grow the game domestically will lose out in rankings, Regional competition opportunities and ICC resources to those members which are growing the game domestically.

5. The Future - Opportunities Funding is based on a members domestic growth. ICC are looking to target a number of members to concentrate the ICC Development Programmes resources on. Italy are one of those targeted members: –There has been historic, sustainable growth in the number of players at Senior and Junior Level. –Strong structure. –There is potential to grow the game further domestically, both at Senior level but especially at Junior level through schools and club programs.

6. The Future - Opportunities ‘What can you do to help Italian Cricket?’ –Develop opportunities for juniors –Link to schools and other community programmes –Encourage as much cricket as possible –Identify local funding opportunities and access to facilities
