Unit G7 Advise and consult with clients © Pearson Education 2009 Printing and photocopying permitted Face shapes Pear-shaped  The forehead is narrow and the face gradually widens to the angle of the jaw, which is broad and prominent.  The hairstyle should create the impression of width across the forehead and make the jawline seem narrower.  The hair should be swept slightly off the forehead to create the illusion of width.
