2. Science Fair Problem Who shoots free throws better with music and without music.

3. Science Fair Introduction I’m going to test boys and girls to see who can shoot free throws better with music and without music.

4. Science Fair Background Information I came up with this idea while playing basketball over the summer playing basketball and listening to music at the same time.

5. Science Fair Hypotheses I think that the boys will have a better consistent free throw shooting because the boys practice a lot more than the girls do.

6. Science Fair Materials I will need 8 boys and 8 girls, I will also need a basketball, basketball court, pencil, paper, goal, and finally I will a gym.

7. Science Fair Procedure I will do my testing during homeroom and during are science fair work days. I will take the boys and girls at the same time. I will have the people shoot 3 practice free throws then they will shoot 5 real free throws.

8. Science Fair Variables Dependent- I'm testing boys and girls and which one shoots free throws with music better Independent – I tested boys and girls. Controlled

9. Science Fair Results The Boys did better shooting free throws with music better than the girls did. But the girls did better without the music.

10. Science Fair Conclusion Throughout this experiment I learned that the guys and girls are really good at free throws.

13. Science Fair Further Research I found out that when shooting free throws with music it is supposed to help relax the shooter when they are shooting. With out the music it says that it puts more pressure on the shooter.

14. Science Fair Time Spent I spent all of my science fair work days working diligently. I also worked during my homeroom time to test and get all my stuff uploaded.
