1 The Partial Evolution of Apple Computers By: Lindsay J.

2 Apple Came a Long Way Apple Inc. which was previously called Apple Computer Inc. because it originally only sold computers. Apple was founded on April 1 st, 1976. From 1976 to 2014, Apple Inc. created tons of computers, and the rest of the power point will be a fraction of what Apple had created.

3 Birth of Apple Computer Inc. : Apple I The first Apple computer, Apple I was made in 1976. It didn’t even come with a case. It’s the first all-in-one micro- computer that, once hooked up to a keyboard and a monitor, didn't require extra circuitry to show text. In 1999, Apple I became the most collectable PC of its time. Sold for $ 666.66.

4 Beginning of the Great Macintosh Revolution Introducing Macintosh 128K O The Macintosh 128K was introduced on January 24, 1984. O It is the first computer to replace text- based operation system with icons and folders. O Macintosh 128K was sold for $ 2,495.

5 The One Who is Moveable: Macintosh Portable O Released on September 20, 1989. O Matrix LCD screen that was clearer than many desk top computers of its time. O Apple’s first computer with a portable battery powered computer. O Introduced for $6,500 American dollars.

6 Black Holes of the Mac Line: Macintosh Performa The Macintosh Performa series was not a new series of computers but simply renamed models from the regular line of computers. Sold in retailers from 1992 – 1997.

7 The T.A.M O T.A.M stood for Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh. They were made in 1997. O Only 12,000 of these were made to make it seem more ‘limit addition like’, but did nothing but to help with the Macintosh sales numbers. O People now call it the iMac before its time.

8 The Ones Who Had Candy Colour: iMac G3 Apple announced the iMac G3 on May 6, 1998, and began shipping on August 15, 1998. It is the design revolution for Apple. A week after they where released, Apple revealed that their most recent quarterly income had three times more than the year before.

9 No Longer Macintosh, Please Call Me iMac O The latest model was announced on October 23, 2012. The 21.5" version was released on November 30 and the 27" version released in December. O Comparing to the very first Macintosh, they look like they’re from a completely different universe.
