2 Greek/Latin activity 2 due Friday Create a word cloud using wordle.net or other word cloud program. (This can also be created by hand also.) ORCreate a concrete poem Create 1 word cloud or concrete poem for each of the 8 word parts. Type the affix and definition in ALL CAPS. (ex: UN NOT) Type 3 words that use the word part. (ex: unfathomable, unearthly, uninhabitable) Type the affix and definition in ALL CAPS again. (ex: UN NOT) Type 3 words that us the word part again. (ex: unmentionable, undeterred, unrelated) Type the affix and definition in ALL CAPS again. (ex: UN NOT) Create! You can use the snipping tool, copy, or print screen to paste the word cloud into a Word document or PowerPoint. To turn it in, print or email yours to me.

4 This week’s activity due Friday On an index card, create a visual vocabulary card for each of the 8 word parts. 1. In the lower left corner, write 3 words with the same word part. 2. Choose 1 word to focus on for the directions below. 3. Write the word, its definition and part of speech at the top of the card. 4. Write the root of the word in capital letters in red in the middle of the card with the meaning of the root. 5. Write the prefix in black to the left of the root and write the meaning of the prefix. 6. Write the suffix in blue to the right of the root and write the meaning of the suffix. 7. Circle the word part and definition to remember for Friday’s quiz! 8. Put your quickdraw on the middle to right side of the card. 9. Define your word at the bottom.
