2 Why March of Dimes is Important Support research, programs and education that help babies start healthy lives –More than half a million babies born too soon each year –Many of the babies who are helped are the children and grandchildren of our employees History of FedEx Support – March for Babies team since 1970s, corporate contributor since 2004 and currently a national sponsor –In 2011, thousands of March for Babies team supporters totaling $1.1 million in campaign contributions and sponsorship How We Make a Difference –Leadership on boards and committees, logistics expertise and financial support –Healthy children and families contribute to the quality of life in the communities where we live, work and play

3 Our Goals Rally our team –Provide volunteer opportunity and chance to have fun, get to know one another AND do something good for our community –Demonstrate our pride in being FedEx employees –Provide opportunity for employees demonstrate leadership and other skills Support fundraising goals
