Why March of Dimes is Important Support research, programs and education that help babies start healthy lives –More than half a million babies born too soon each year –Many of the babies who are helped are the children and grandchildren of our employees History of FedEx Support – March for Babies team since 1970s, corporate contributor since 2004 and currently a national sponsor –In 2011, thousands of March for Babies team supporters totaling $1.1 million in campaign contributions and sponsorship How We Make a Difference –Leadership on boards and committees, logistics expertise and financial support –Healthy children and families contribute to the quality of life in the communities where we live, work and play
