3 2011 Highlights Average turn around time for new license requests reduced to 32 days 93% of all license fees reinvested in development and support IRUG license agreements increased from 31 in 2010 to 56 today Beta Test versions of RELAP5-3D 3.0 (Fortran 95) distributed Multiyear license agreements executed Implemented a standardized questionnaire for new members DOE granted permission to assert copyright for 10 years

7 Export Control Requirements DOE determination: RELAP5-3D falls under 10 CFR 810 BEA and Licensees both have responsibilities for compliance Expedited review process Standardized “Program Participant Form” Legal name of licensee Full names and citizenship of end users and contacts Full addresses and phone number End use of the code IRUG membership level requested Our Checklist:

8 Goals for 2012 Expand distribution of RELAP5-3D 3.0 following Beta Testing Execute multi-year license agreements Automate notifications when licenses are expiring Improve internal tracking and reporting Add new RELAP capabilities (Uncertainty Analysis) Goal: Improve BEA’s response to license inquiries.

9 Summary IRUG user group is growing rapidly Licensing process is improving to better support IRUG members Product improvements continue to be added We need RELAP5-3D Version 3.0 feedback!
