3 Community College Survey of Student Engagement CCSSE: A Tool for Community Colleges CCSSE data analyses include a three-year cohort of participating colleges.  The 2008 CCSSE Cohort includes more than 36,000 community college students from Texas.

Having high percentages of developmental students can alter overall institutions scores on the CCSSE instrument. Within the 2008 CCSSE cohort colleges in Texas: The range of percentage of developmental students is 37% to 74%. (as reported by students who completed the CCSSE instrument)
