Now print screen the finished example to the word document and crop the image (use right button on the mouse

11. Can you find any examples of nucleated and dispersed settlements in the map? Repeat the last few slides so that you have and example of all three settlement types.

15. How far is it from your house to school? Zoom in…. Using the pencil tool can you draw your route to your house? You can use the cursor keys on the keyboard to move the screen and keep your line going. Double click to finish the line.

16. How far is it from your house to school? Using the ruler tool, click on the line, select km and this will show you how far you travel to school. Print screen this to your word document.
