2. Closing Comments  This Workshop has been an experiment – the first time that Tax and Customs administrators have been brought together  Has it been a useful exercise?  Where can we take it from here?

Immediate Outcomes 1.METAC can look at specific TA requests from individual countries – lines of communication will remain open on this issue 2.METAC could facilitate the establishment of a Knowledge Sharing and Learning Community throughout the region, for the exchange of information, views and experiences

4. For the Future  Examining the potential for greater synergy between Tax and Customs administrations is a starting point  Opportunities will also exist for examining potential synergies between revenue administrations and other governmental agencies  Opportunities will also exist to examine interaction between revenue administrations and private sector and professional organizations
