2 Community Preservation - Accomplishments Preserved 95 acres  farm, woodland & waterfronts Supported affordable housing  Purchased 3 lots, considered in others  Supported Municipal Housing Trust  Assisted 4 homeowners lower purchase price Supplemented town budget, within the confines of the state act  Town Hill walkway, 2 cemeteries, library schoolhouse, shade structure @ Pond Street, preserve town’s vital records

4 Community Preservation Committee - by the numbers Past Expenditures thru town meeting votes = $3.23 million Current Budget  Town’s fiscal commitment 2011 = $ 272,969.00  State match (rec’d Oct. 2010) = $ 191,007.00  Total Funds Available = $ 3.15 million Recommendations for town meeting  Articles 19 -20, 23-28, 33 = $ 386,150  To improve Gump’s, Support affordable housing, Restore historic mural  Does not include administration & banking
