Merge – To merge two or more edges. Split Edges – To split an edge into number of edges. Project To Plane – To project an edge to the defined plane. Equivalence – To join two separate edges into a single edge. Chaining – Creating an edge from the collection of element edges to form as a chain. Show Adjacent – To display the edges corresponding to the given guide face and edge. Delete – To delete the Floating, Overlapping and Tiny edges Present in the body. Select connected– To display elements/faces connected to the selected edges. Imprint Edges on Face – Imprints edges or edge groups on the target faces or face groups. Imprint Edges on Edges – Imprints one or more edges on the target edges.

Split faces- To split a face into number of faces. Break Faces- To break a face with respect to a node or vertex. Face equivalence - To equivalence nodes between two faces. Imprint Line- To imprint a line on a face. Imprint circle- To imprint circular edges on a face. Show Adjacent- To trace out the adjacent faces. Disconnect- To disconnect a face that is not continuous. Cap Cylinder- To close (capping) the opening of a cylinder and to create layers of caps along the axis.

Remove Fillet- To remove fillet from the body. Change Fillet- To modify the existing fillet. Move- To move the faces from its parent body to another reference body. Show Connected- To identify the closed regions excluding the non-manifold regions. Make Congruent Face - To make one face identical to another face.

Geometry | Face Face CleanUp Close Narrow Region- To extend the floating edge upto the boundary within the given tolerance value. Remove Tiny Faces- To display / merge the tiny edges within the given tolerance. Remove Thin Faces- To add mid line on the face and collapse the elements. This is mainly used to collapse thin faces on the ribs.

Geometry | Body Create- To create a meshed body (Block, Cylinder etc.,) Merge- To merge two or more bodies. Show Internal faces- To show the shared faces that are within the body. Unmerge- To unmerge the merged bodies. Show Features- To identify the features like fillets, cylinders etc. Show edges- To display edges of given length. Remove face- To remove any faces like chamfers etc., Break- To break a body or a face. Disconnect- To disassemble the merged body. Boolean- To get the union or intersecting volumes in the bodies Edit Parasolid-This tool helps in removing the Holes and Fillets on Parasolid geometry. Drill Hole -Able to drill a hole through a hex meshed body using this option. Show Duplicate-This tool is used to identify the duplicated parts among the selected parts.

Show Bodies- To display bodies which are smaller than the given bounding box size. Sew Model- To stitch sheet bodies and make them as a single body. (for parasolid only). Imprint Model- To make imprint of one body on the other (for parasolid only). Transfer Body- To transfer one or more bodies from one model to another model. Merge RBE- To merge two or more RBEs from a single body. Compare-To compare the two models and display the difference and union in the entities.

Surface Mesh- To mesh a body with surface elements. Local Re-mesh- To alter the existing meshed portion of the body. Free Edges- To identify the cracks. Element Intersection- To identify the overlapping elements. Auto cleanup- To Auto fill the cracks, holes in a body. Cleanup- Tools for manually cleaning a surface body. Volume Mesh- To create a mesh on a body with solid elements. Tools- Special functions (Axisymmetric meshing, Mesh Pattern, Penta layer, Layered element, Face offset, Project to CAD, Change Layers). Quality Check- To verify the quality of the elements.

Align- To align the irregular geometrical entities. Join- To create congruent mesh between the parts. Separate- To separate the shared faces on a body. Share Entities- To display the shared faces or edges on a body. Body Union-To perform boolean operations between the bodies. Hex Bolt Align- To align a hex meshed bolt with the bolt hole.

Renumber- Used to Renumber Node, Element, LBC connection id's in a model. Transfer id's- Transfer Node id's and property from one body to another body. Node id's are transferred based on the co-ordinates. If nodes with same co-ordinates exists in both bodies then destination body node id will be changed to source body node id. Transfer Loads- Transfer loads and properties from one model to another and properties model based on both CAD and Persistent Id’s. Replace Body- To replace the existing body with new body. Export Nodes/- To write the Nodes and elements of the selected face. Elements Tools- Special functions (Thread removal, Logo Removal, create Rib, Symmetry plane, Set id, Calculate volume). Constraints- To apply constraints. Interaction- To define the surface behaviour between bodies. Contact- To establish the contact between bodies. Mass- To calculate the mass properties of a body. Global damping- To define the critical damping vs Frequency and global structural damping values. Connections- To create connectors, equations, RBEs. Sets- To create sets for various entities. Material- To define Material. Property- To assign Material properties to a body.

Rename LBC- This tool is used to rename LBC objects. Set Master DOF- It is used to set master DOF (only for Ansys). Assign LCS - Used to assign Local co-ordinates system to selected graphics or FEM entity Nodes. Mapping - To map the Load/Results data from one mesh to another mesh. Export- To write out solver input file.

Applications | Analysis | Thermal Initial temperature- To define the initial temperature on specified entities. Temperature- To define the temperature on the specified entities. Flux- To create surface heat flux load and to define surface based heat fluxes. Convection- To define surface heating/cooling due to convection by surrounding fluids. Heat source- To create heat source on the specified location. Thermal MPC- To define equation/MPC for thermal degree of freedom between nodes for faces. Interaction -To define the gap conductance as a function of conductance with respect to clearance or pressure, along with temperature data if required. Thermal Contact- To specify contact between bodies. Material- To define material property for a model. Property- To define properties for solids, shells, beam or bar, rigid elements. Load case- To organize loads and constraints created into Nastran load cases or Abaqus steps. Mapping- To map the Load/Results data from one mesh to another mesh. Export- To write out solver input.

Select- To select the desired load sets from results file. Contour- To adjust the contour spectrum. Deformation- To set the deformed view for results. Animate- To see deflections in animations. XY Plot- To plot graphs between the nodes and results. Export results-To export the results for nodes and save them in the desired format. Tools-Special functions (Query results, Bore distortion, FRF, Show Min Max, Set display etc.).
