2.  I was born on September 25, 1996 in Trenton, Michigan and raised in Romulus, Michigan, as a product of an 18 year old mother and drug addicted father. Throughout my elementary years I was always picked on for being overweight until seventh grade when I lost a significant amount of weight. Softball is my favorite sport to watch, and it’s also my favorite activity. I like all music excluding gospel only because it doesn’t make sense to me.

3.  I like to spend majority of time with my family, watching my uncle race, going camping, fishing, swimming, and just talking. On April 27, 2011, My step father adopted me making him my official father. I have a close relationship with one of my cousins and my grandfather.  I have attended anger management classes in the past year due to my extreme anger, and I have developed a sense of calm since the classes were taken and finished.

4.  I’m not afraid to make a fool out of my self in public because I think it’s just as funny as the people laughing at me do. I like to do things that others don’t because I like to be different, unique, spontaneous, and out going.

5.  There is no beginning or end to your dreams or plans. Life is a journey from moment to moment. Live each moment to its fullest. › I believe that everyone should just be able to do what they want within reason. Like if someone wants to do something or get something, there shouldn’t be an age limit on things that are legal once you’re an adult. I think there’s no point to parents saying “You’re too young” or “No, because I said so”.

6. › I think we should just do what we want because as far as we know there might no be a tomorrow. › Ex: I want a tattoo but my mom thinks I am too young and always asks me “do you think you’ll want that when you’re 80?” My response is “mom, I don’t know if I’ll live until I’m 80. Just let me be happy while I can.”

9.  The career pathway that I am most interested in is Human Services. I picked Human Services because I feel the need to serve my community and my country, I feel like I have to give back what I’ve taken from it, and Human Services seems like the way to go if I want to give back. My career pathway requires me to be physically active, being able to work almost any time of the day or night, have good communication skills, be good with people, have good judgment, and be fluent in multiple languages.

10.  I believe this pathway fits me best because when it comes down to it I can handle bad situations very easily, I listen to people and let them try to explain things but can still be very firm about the situation,  I would like to attend University of Michigan and receive at least a Bachelors degree in Human Services.University of Michigan

12.  Some skills that I have now that are close to my career pathway that I have chosen include being mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared for stress, having tons of energy so I can be alert and focused at all times and good judgment towards people and situations.  Some skills that I may need to work on or gain are communicating with others, handling all different types of weather, learn to drive, positive attitude at all times, and learn that I have to live with the environment and people around me for the rest of my life.
