“The Lottery” and Literary Criticism In groups of 4, select a literary criticism “lens” through which you can read “The Lottery.” On the provided chart paper, write the name of the type of literary criticism, and list at least 3 specific details from the story that support that reading of the text.

Now do it again…this time with “The Giving Tree” In your same group, read and analyze “The Giving Tree” using an assigned rhetorical appeal. On the BACK of your provided chart paper, write the analysis statement, and list at least 3 specific details from the story that support that reading of the text.
