DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS Attention FFA members our next FFA meeting is Tuesday Dec. 8th at 3pm in the NDR we will discuss our upcoming progress show and s'mores night at the barn. See you there! This weekend your Golden Eagle Basketball Boys were busy in the gym. Last Saturday the Junior Varsity Boys won the Cy-Fair Invitational for the second year in a row as they defeated Westfield and Cy Lakes in the Championship! Their record improves to 5-0. This past weekend the Varsity boys took 3 rd place in the Woodlands tournament defeating Elsik, Thompkins and North Forest. Their only loss was to a tough Fort Bend Elkins team. Varsity improves to 5-1 on the season. Come support your Golden Eagles this Tuesday when they travel to Nimitz High School. Varsity tip time is at 7pm. Go Eagles! Try-outs for the Girls Soccer team are today & tomorrow after school. You must have a current physical in order to try-out. In order to try out, be at the girl’s locker room today at 2:30. National Art Honor Society Members – Please see Mrs. Murland in room 820 to pay your dues by this Friday December 4. The dues are $25 for Juniors and $17 for Seniors and a NAHS shirt is included with your dues!!! Please make sure to also check on Blackboard for important upcoming event information

DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree, we have a new life for thee. If you are replacing your artificial tree this Christmas please donate your old tree to the Advance Fashion Class. Contact Mrs. Jones room 108. There will be a very important meeting for all Academic Decathlon members Thursday, December 3 in room 616 after school. Please plan to attend. The Golden Eagles Basketball Boy’s were in full flight last night as they battled and defeated a very tough Nimitz team 84-74.. Cedric Alley led the charge with 23 while Super Sophomore Durey Cadwell poured in 21. The Golden Eagles will play in the Katy Invitational this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The win moves the Eagles to 6-1 on the season. The JV boys won their 6 th straight beating Nimitz 67-60 while the Sophomores dropped a close game in the final seconds 52-53. Both Freshman teams lost last night but they will be looking to rebound tomorrow as they will play in their first tournament of the season. Come out and support your Golden Eagles. Go Eagles! The International Student Outreach will be hosting its first meeting Thursday after school in room 2:45. All members and officers please plan to attend. Students in Ms. Javellana and Ms. Nestor’s class, Ms. Rains class or Mr. Gosselin’s class, please come and meet students who would like to help you practice English and do better in your classes. See Mr. Gosselin for more information.
