1. Healthy cooking meal lesson & facts- Chanele & Georgia

2. Project summary Georgia and I are pairing up to do a educational project for our class. This project consists of cooking a healthy recipe and educating the class on interesting food facts and how they are beneficial for your health and why some foods surprisingly aren’t.

3. Project summary This project will be presented in the west wing Georgia and I will firstly do a demonstration while the class is gathered round the kitchen bench. Class mates will be selected to help with the cooking.

4. Educational Posters These posters will provide facts about food and will be along the walls of the west wing. These posters will be presented to students to inform them on healthy eating and nutritional requirements. Such as: * fibre *healthy fats *vegetables & fruits *energy boosters *vitamin requirements ect.

5. educational purpose: The purpose of this activity is showing the class that you can prepare healthy and beneficial quick meals when ever they are hungry. Because majority of kids these days run straight to MacDonald's or fast food franchises when they supposedly "have no food" in the fridge so the purpose of this project is to show them that they can make easy quick meals which are good for you instead of relying on take out to satisfy their hunger. Also to share facts about food that might help their health. We have informed the assistant principle on this project and we got permission to use the kitchen in the west wing to cook.

HEALTHY RECIPE & PRICE *tacos - olive oil, brown onion, ground cumin, paprika, teaspoon of cayenne pepper,beef mince, can crushed tomatoes, jumbo taco shells, iceberg lettuce leaves, shredded tomatoes, chopped, grated tasty cheese. price: $0 sponsorship provided support required for the project: buying the food -The school can get ingredients from Coles for free.

8. DEADLINE: This project will be completed by the end of term 3 23th Thursday July during a double period :)
