Shipper A fails to register new customer. Shipper A is contractually responsible from the effective withdrawal or meter fit date

2 © British Gas Trading Limited 2011 Slide 2 Re-establishment of Shipperless Sites UNC0425 Shipper’s liability Scenario 2 – Shipper A withdrawal / Shipper B activity Effective meter withdrawal Meter found in situ Other Shipper activity (e.g. failed registration) 1.Transporter identifies meter in situ and Shipper B activity (failed confirmation, registration, meter readings or asset updates to the C&D store). 2. Shipper B contractually responsible for registration to effective withdrawal date or meter fit date.

Customer connects meter. Customer signs supply contract or risks disconnection 4. Transporter contacts customer informing them to obtain a supply contract or they risk being disconnected. 3. Shipper A passes evidence to Transporter. 2. No supply contract obtained by the customer - Theft in Conveyance. 1. Shipper A writes to customer notifying them to obtain a supply contract.
