5 IMPORTANCE OF BAND CAMP IN AUGUST For Freshman Absolute time needed to learn the music for the school songs and the marching band show. Meet and work with 180+ other BWHS students in all grades (9-12). Opportunity to become familiar with the school layout. Elminates the first day jitters. 5

6 BAND FACTS Marching band practices all of August and before and after school during the first quarter. Most all weekends from Setpember through mid November have a day taken up by marching band. There are band fees for participating in all band groups. Students can earn funds towards band costs throughout the school year by participating in fundraising. 6
