2. A great 2011 M&E survey! ICP 2011 was a test for a new framework for data collection and validation on Machinery and Equipment Goods. Thanks to the RCA and the countries we are now offering an updated list of items for consideration. This built on successes and lessons learnt from previous experiences.

Background Eurostat-OECD is currently implementing the 2015 survey of Machinery and Equipment Goods The list of items has been updated to reflect changes to items specifications in line with the 2011 Global Core List The list of items reflects global markets and products There is room for enhanced updates as discussions evolve The overall objective is to increase representativity, accuracy, and availability of machinery and equipment goods items
