It would not be my first choice, but I wouldn’t mind it. Aside from the language barrier, I feel that I’d like it there if I lived in the capital city of Montevideo, but with that being said I would not want to live in a village.

The Soviet Union was trying to spread Communism, and USA was trying to stop them.

 There were no direct battles between the Soviets and the USA.  The Soviet Union officially ended on December 25, 1991.  The Russian Federation took control December 26, 1991.

 Currently Russia is not in any conflicts to my knowledge. Although, they have growing concerns about Iran possibly creating nuclear weapons.

 Hockey  Soccer  Basketball  Bandy(similar to hockey)  Rugby  Tennis  Gymnastics  Various winter sports

 Like  I like the beautiful buildings in Russia such as The St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow’s Red Square.  Dislike  I dislike the cold weather.  I am also not a fan of the food eaten in Russia.

I would not like to live in Russia. They have very harsh winters and I already hate PA weather so I feel as if living in Russia would be a bad fit for me. Also I am not a big fan of the food eaten there. Last but not least, I feel as though the language barrier and the Russian alphabet would be very difficult to understand/learn.

 I would definitely choose to live in America. I feel as though it would be difficult to make the transition moving outside of the country, even to a place such as England. If I had to move outside of the US, I would pick Australia because they have good weather and they speak English.
