Violence in Kenya Have you ever been grounded? And if you were, were you miserable? Because most children from Kenya would call that a day in paradise compared to what they have been through.

Around 26% of Kenya’s children are forced into child labor. Most work under terrible conditions. Others work as domestic helpers. (Slaves basically.)

The Medical and human rights groups (M.H.R) in Kenya are noticing a small but steady increase in domestic violence. Go to http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7224401.stm for an example of the scarring violence.http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7224401.stm

If a child is convicted (Or a convicted parent decides to take their son/daughter in with them,), he/she is usually forced to share a cell with an adult man or woman. This usually results in mental and sexual abuse.

If you want to help, donate to: http://www.kenyarelief.org/http://www.kenyarelief.org/ - Go here and go to “Get involved”, then “donate”. Do it so the children can live long and happy lives. Be the voice to the voiceless, and do what’s right.
