Reasons for Tweek Tweek is a Student Centred Learning Environment Developed by UWA & Khaydor to improve the quality of learning and teaching Developed through continual dialog with academics to create a product tailored to the needs of academics

Main Features Robust reliable & entirely web-based –UWA Staff MUST use Tweek for summative assessments. Multiple choice, multiple selection, fill in the blanks, true/false & yes/no; Formative & summative assessments;

Learning Assistance Fully integrated with learning objectives; A student can be directed to their weaker areas when they review their formative assessments, or view their results of summative assessments.

Advanced Options Full media support within assessments, Advanced weighting options for all question types, and for question sections. Review of student answers after the assessment. Detailed question statistics.

Summative VS Formative Question Integrity Not as serious, not a real assessment Levels of student feedback Lecturer feedback

Tweek’s Hybrid Takes the positives of Summative and Formative assessments –Keep integrity of questions by not giving away answers –Consistent feedback through learning objectives –Linked to course materials to encourage students to learn why they failed, and not learn the answers –Lecturer gets the summative marks for feedback

Other Tweek Modules Attendance –Allow recording and monitoring of student attendance, with the aim to improve participation, performance and retention. Coursework –Allow creation, submission and grading of student coursework. Course Materials –Allow students to access course notes and materials online, with associated learning objectives. Feedback –Allow feedback via questionnaires, with detailed results and intuitive creation mechanisms.

Other Tweek Modules Announcements –Allows announcements to be sent to a module, all students, all staff etc. PDP –Allows students to create personal development pages for personal profiling Discussion Groups –Allows students to create and reply to message on a forum within modules and groups.
