Multicultural Club By: Jose Marquez

Rules Keep it P.G., if it isn’t, but it’s a big component of your presentation think of it as something your teacher would have to say. (i.e. alcohol and crime) Don’t be afraid to collaborate. If more than one of you want to do the same country, you’re allowed to work together.

Rules Don’t make fun or make rude generalizations about another culture or country. To each their own. Your presentations are not a grade or extra credit, but you can earn up to 3 service hours for NJHS or PALS. The reason we have an attendance sheet is because if you don’t show up an x amount of times, you won’t be allowed in to the end of year party we’re having at the end of the year.

Rules The food is free and optional for your presentation, but we’ll make sure you’re going to present this year. We have Multicultural Day here at Curtis and we do take part in it. You don’t get any concrete guidelines for your presentation, because this is a club and you can make it your own. There will be a new president before we end the school year.

When? We will usually meet bi-weekly, but the dates do get tentative during testing. If you don’t listen to announcements you can use Remind 101 or follow us on Instagram. Remind 101- @cmsmu 469-507-3194 Instagram- @cmsmulticulturalclub
