6 What needed to be Accomplished? Integrate research and Extension POW’s where feasible and practical Streamline POW’s Eliminate duplication of POW’s -ANR POW -Individual POW Recognize that Field Specialists are the primary delivery system of educational program activities

7 Two major program thrusts to balance: Base programming -- applying and sharing knowledge grounded in the best science. Priority programming -- working directly with Iowans to help them prosper through the best science.
