IV.P RAY I N F AITH, W ITH C ONFIDENCE Mark 11:24 New International Version (NIV) 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. James 1:6 New International Version (NIV) 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. Hebrews 4:16 New International Version (NIV) 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. 1 John 5:14 New International Version (NIV) 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. How might this apply to what you are doing in prayer?

V.P RAY P ERSISTENTLY AND A LWAYS Matthew 7:7 Amplified Bible (AMP) 7 “Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. Colossians 4:2 Amplified Bible (AMP) 2 Be persistent and devoted to prayer, being alert and focused in your prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6-7 Amplified Bible (AMP) 6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].

“Heaven is full of answers to prayers for which no one ever bothered to ask.” Billy Graham

VI.P RAY FOR O THERS a.Leaders 1 Timothy 2:1-2 New International Version (NIV) 1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. b.Enemies Matthew 5:44 New International Version (NIV) 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, Luke 6:28 New International Version (NIV) 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

c.One Another James 5:16 New International Version (NIV) 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Acts 1:14 New International Version (NIV) 14 They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

Let Us Pray… WHAT ASPECT OF BEING ‘CALLED OUT TO PRAY TOGETHER’ ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT?
