4. Col. 2:14 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross” Our sins were transferred to Jesus He died in our place – Heb. 2:9 Our sins were nailed with Him to that cross!

6. 1 Jn. 1:7-9 “cleanses us from all sin” “and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” Cleanse = to make clean, purge, purify Purged = to clear of guilt Sin makes us dirty 2 Pet. 2:7 “the filthy conduct of the wicked” Acts 22:16 “wash away your sins”

7. Mic. 7:19 “He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.” - Our sins are lost, destroyed, buried out of sight. - They cannot be retrieved!

8. Ps. 103:12 “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

9. Isa. 38:17 “Indeed it was for my own peace that I had great bitterness; but You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, for You have cast all my sins behind Your back.” Cannot be seen Forgive

10. Heb. 10:17 “And their sins and iniquities I will remember no more.” O.T. = sins remembered each year - atonement After sacrifice of Christ their sins were not remembered. Heb. 10:18 “Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.”
