More Verb Practice Let’s look back at your 10 sentences that you just wrote with the adjectives Take a look at the verbs you used Circle them Now…come up with a more VIVID verb to use and write it above the verb you circled

Rules for Dialogue Exact words of characters will go inside a set of QUOTATIONS First word of the quote is always a CAPITAL letter Each speaker has their own paragraph (always indent) Tag Lines (he said, she said) should be used, but not too much. You should vary them so you are not repetitious Always use a comma AFTER the TAG LINE when introducing a quote Always place the PERIOD INSIDE the quotation mark
