Specifically: ◦ Given two locations, students will determine the time difference between them or the actual time at the second location. ◦ Given a location and a time difference, students will determine the other location.

5.  Students will be able to determine a latitude given an altitude of Polaris. They will also be able to do the opposite

6.  Students will apply core vocabulary to topographic maps.

7.  Students will be able to construct an isoline map and calculate gradients.

9.  Students will be able to infer or construct a profile from a topographic map.
